Stormhaven Glimpses are short pieces delving briefly into the lives of characters in the world of N’Ume. Any resemblance to real persons is not entirely coincidental, but is tangential rather than direct. These brief stories are offered as moments glimpsed in a mirror, strange and yet recognisable, but not portraits.

It is said that Guian Starshadow and Sana Ramatha, though both Manakai, swore the Soulbond oath to one another long ago, in the sacred groves of Aelvargaria, on the very first day that they met.
The Soulbond is sworn by the couple alone, save for the eternal presence of Au’um. No witnesses are called, no record kept. It is said to transcend the boundaries of life and time, binding not circumstance but being. Among the Elvakai it is understood less as a promise than as a recognition — that two souls have already met.
Sana accompanied Guian back to his home in Stormhaven, though her path there would prove different from his.
Unlike Guian, she is uninterested in the affairs of councils, guilds, or politics. She lives quietly, but not idly. Sana has dedicated her life to the service of those in need, working alongside the Lay Sisters of Light to provide food and clothing for families who cannot provide for themselves. Much of her work is among the refugees of the Sprawl, beyond the walls of the old city, where loss arrives faster than hope and gratitude is rarely spoken aloud.
Those who know her well say that Sana does not see this work as charity, nor even as duty. She speaks of it instead as listening made practical — a way of standing with others in the present moment and finding that it is, for now, enough.
Guian walks often beneath the stars. Sana walks among the hungry.
Both are said to walk with the Light.
